How come you don't have hundreds of thousands of books like some of the other sites I've visited?
Here at Worldwide Audiobooks, we go for quality over quantity. We LOVE audiobooks. Think of us as that weird little neighborhood bookstore that doesn't necessarily carry the latest bestseller, but instead carries a variety of interesting titles that you might not otherwise find. We hand select titles that we think might rock your world, make you think, or stay with you longer than this summer's blockbuster paint-by-numbers. Browse around; pick up something you've never heard of. You won't be disappointed!

What formats are your audiobooks available in?
We offer all of our audiobooks in compact disc format. In addition, some titles are available as MP3 files shipped to you on a flash drive, and some are available to download directly.

Tell me more about these downloads.
You bet! We offer some titles via direct download. These titles will download as a single .ZIP file that contains all the MP3s for that audiobook.

Can I play these files on any MP3 player?
Yes! At Worldwide Audiobooks, we don't cripple our MP3 files with confusing proprietary formatting that can only be played on certain portable media devices. All of our files are plain-Jane MP3s.

What about the file quality?
Our downloadable files are encoded in 96kbps VBR mono format. We've found this provides adequate sound quality while keeping download times relatively short. Digital files delivered on flash drives are of significant higher sound quality, delivered at 198kbps VBR. They are, of course, much larger files.

How long will an audiobook take to download?
It depends on the length, of course, but each hour of audio is around 50 megabytes. Keep that in mind when downloading longer audiobooks.

What is your shipping and delivery policy?
Most orders ship within 3 days. For some products that are warehoused through a subsidiary, shipping my take up to 5 days. If shipping is delayed beyond 5 days, we will notifiy you. Delivery methods vary; delivery usually takes 2-3 days in the continental U.S.

What is your return policy?
You may return any purchase for a complete refund within 15 days of receipt. Call us at 512-788-5427, or email us via the form on our CONTACT US page to initiate a return. We will also replace any defective or damaged individual CD or other media free for a period of 90 days. Call us and we will send you a replacement and a postage-paid envelope for your return. Just return the defective CD or media; no need to return the whole package.

What about cancellations?
Just give us a call at 512-788-5427, or email us via the form on our CONTACT US page. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel it at no cost to you.

What are your privacy policies?
Your privacy as a customer is very important to us. We collect your email and shipping address when you register with our site, but we WILL NOT share it with anyone. If you check the "subscribe to newsletter" box, we may periodically send you special savings or offers. If you don't we won't. It's that simple. If you have questions of concerns, call us at 512-788-5427 and we'll sort it out to your satisfaction, guaranteed.

What about site security?
All your ordering information is encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol before being transferred to our web server for processing. This protects your personal information from unauthorized use through the duration of the checkout process. Most browsers will show a lock icon in the bottom status bar on secure pages.

How can I check my order status?
You can always see the status of your order by visiting the MY ACCOUNT section and clicking the "view" button for the appropriate order.
